Our sanctuary rests in the heart of San Marcos la Laguna, a captivating Mayan village that beckons international travelers seeking serenity, spiritual exploration, and therapeutic experiences. Ascend into the ethereal beauty of our retreat space, nestled into the cliffside and affording breathtaking vistas of Lake Atitlán and surrounding Volcanoes. A twenty-five minute hike transports you to a world where tranquility and rejuvenation intertwine, far away from the noise and distractions of everyday life.

This off-grid sanctuary provides an idyllic setting for you to reconnect with your inner self, deepen your yoga practice, and rediscover the innate harmony of the natural world. Step away from the over-saturation of media and technology as you embark on a digital detox, allowing yourself to fully unwind and find solace in the embrace of Mother Nature. Engage in daily yoga sessions, workshops, and meditations amidst the backdrop of awe-inspiring landscapes, fostering a deep connection with your practice and the natural world. Enrich your journey with immersive cultural experiences, such as the ancient tradition of the sweat lodge, soothing plant baths, and sacred Mayan fire ceremonies that honor the wisdom of ancient traditions. Immerse yourself in the wonders of eco-friendly living, as we harness the power of solar energy and embrace locally inspired building materials and techniques. Your mind, body, and soul will be nourished with healthy and sustainable vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Savor each bite, knowing that the ingredients are locally sourced and sustainably procured, allowing you to tread lightly on our precious Earth.

We invite you to leave behind the burdens of modern life and pack your essentials: a humble backpack, organic soaps to cleanse both body and soul, a head torch to guide your way, and most importantly, a spirit of adventure. Surrender to the allure of the unknown as you traverse hidden paths, embracing the untamed beauty that surrounds you as you indulge in this week-long retreat of rejuvenation.

This is your invitation to escape, to unleash your spirit, embrace the wild, and embark on a journey that will leave you replenished, rejuvenated, and forever connected to the beauty that lies within and without. Join us for this New Year’s yoga retreat on Lake Atitlán, where the serene waters, lush forests, and ethereal surroundings await your arrival.
