CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Our yoga classes are designed to push the limits of even the most seasoned yoga practitioners, while simultaneously fostering an environment of support and inspiration for newcomers to power yoga, rocket yoga, and ashtanga-inspired practices. While beginners are warmly embraced and commonly found in our classes, those who are new to the practice should anticipate a gradual development of their skills and knowledge. Regular breaks, observation, and modifications are highly emphasized and encouraged.

All classes, except for Sound Baths, are practiced to a high-vybrational electronic music playlist and gently heated to 80-95 degrees using infrared heat, which directly warms muscles, allowing for a greater range of motion.

TYPE: POWER YOGA 🔥 |  TIME: 45, 60, or 75 MINUTES

vyb is a powerful, fast-paced practice that is all encompassing. It cultivates dharana (concentration), builds cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength, enhances your mobility and flexibility, and refines balance and stability all while deepening your connection to your true Self. 

Practiced to a LOUD playlist, the class begins with a series of dynamic flows to warm-up the body before moving into core strengthening drills, a sequence of balancing postures, backbends, and inversions. The class ends with relaxing, deep stretch asanas before moving into savasana.

Although we always practice the same 20+ standard postures, no two classes ever feel the same! We keep you on your toes with creative sequencing, arm balance options, modifications, and new challenges.

TYPE: POWER 🔥 + DEEP STRETCH✨ |  TIME: 60 or 75 MINUTES

The best of both worlds. Our signature hot power vinyasa class for the first half of class, yin and restorative yoga for the last half of class.  The practice begins with a series of dynamic flows to warm-up the body before moving into the balancing flow, inversions, and backbends. The class ends with 30 minutes of relaxing, floor-based asanas designed to get deeply into tight areas and release stress.

TYPE: ROCKET-INSPIRED YOGA 🚀 |  TIME: 45, 60, 75, or 90 MINUTES

A set sequence of postures focused on bringing flexibility, strength, and balance to the legs, hips, and backside of the body. Inspired by Ashtanga Primary Series and the Rocket 1 sequence, you will explore sun salutations, seated postures, and other strength-building shapes that will challenge you to become mentally and physically stronger.  Funky transitions, inversions, and modifications are encouraged!  Music is LOUD.  Learn more about Rocket Yoga here.

TYPE: ROCKET-INSPIRED YOGA 🚀 | TIME: 45, 60, 75, or 90 MINUTES

An endurance-building yoga class that explores athletic, strength-building asana combinations inspired by Ashtanga Intermediate Series and the Rocket 2 sequence. This class will push you to break through your limits and explore your edge. Offering a set sequence full of arm balances, seated postures, and lots of backbends, this class will challenge your upper body strength, strengthen the back, and build endurance. Music is LOUD. TYPE: ASHTANGA YOGA 📿 | TIME: 60 MINUTES

Ashtanga Yoga is our studio’s foundational practice and the basis of our teachings. This class, Modified Ashtanga Primary Series, is an invigorating practice that offers a strong foundation in vinyasa yoga and the lineage of Ashtanga that is accessible to all levels. If you are new to yoga, this is the perfect class to start with. If you have tried any of our other classes, or have tried Ashtanga in the past and have felt intimidated by this style, again, start here!  

In this class, you will move through a set sequence of postures that are designed to purify the body, calm the mind, and prepare you for deeper levels of meditation.  We will begin with a brief centering and breathing practice, followed by a series of Sun Salutations and standing postures that build heat and strength in the body. From there, we will move into seated postures that focus on opening the hips, lengthening the spine, and cultivating inner awareness.  The practice keeps a slow, steady pace where poses are held for 3-5 breaths so that there’s enough time to enter each posture and reap the benefits.  The class will end with a deep relaxation and meditation, leaving you feeling energized, centered, and renewed.  

There will be light background music and the room is not as hot (expect 80-85 degrees).

TYPE: SOUND BATH 🕉️ | TIME: 60 MINUTES

vybrations is your portal to a world where the healing power of sound propels you into a deep state of meditation, leaving you feeling refreshed, harmonized, and deeply connected to your inner self and the universe.

Scientifically, certain frequencies in sound have been found to have a positive influence on our overall well-being, promoting harmony within both our minds and bodies, while deeply impacting vital aspects of our physiological functioning, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.⁠  

Each session begins with a pranayama (breath-work) technique, guiding you into the serene realm of the meditative state.  Once there, you’ll then be enveloped by the soothing tones of resonant gongs, Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls and more. These ancient instruments create a transcendent experience, allowing you to release tension, rejuvenate your spirit, and access a heightened state of self-awareness.  

This class promises a profound experience, one where the boundaries between the physical and the metaphysical blur, inviting you to rediscover the sanctuary within yourself.

Please bring your own blanket, bolsters, yoga mat, and whatever else you need to feel completely comfortable. We have a limited number of bolsters and mats for free use.

YIN vybrations

TYPE: YIN YOGA + SOUND BATH 🕉️ | TIME: 60 MINUTES

yin vybrations 🕉️✨ — a unique fusion of yin and restorative yoga with a live sound bath. The artful combination of these practices creates a sanctuary for your mind, body, and spirit, offering a transformative experience that goes beyond the physical postures. If you’re looking for deep relaxation and rejuvenation, this is the class for you.

You’ll be guided through deep stretch and restorative postures held for 3-5 minutes each that target the connective tissues, promoting flexibility and a sense of inner calm. As you surrender into each pose, the live sound bath will weave a tapestry of soothing tones using gongs, singing bowls, and other resonant instruments. The immersive soundscape serves as a catalyst for deep relaxation, inviting you to release tension and find stillness within. The live sound bath, performed in real-time, adds an extra layer of magic to this practice. The vibrations emanating from the instruments resonate with the rhythm of your breath, creating a symphony that lulls you into a meditative state. Scientifically proven to influence well-being, the frequencies produced can positively impact your physiological functions, bringing balance to your body and mind.

Practice Method:

There is a method to the vyb madness. Our classes are meant to be practiced a minimum of 3-4 times per week (working up to 6 times per week) using a combination of our ‘vyb’ power yoga classes and ‘Rocket-inspired’ yoga classes.  It is important that you tune-in to what you need each day and not over-exert the body. Listen to what you need and modify the practice accordingly (you can make any of our classes as challenging or as gentle as needed).  Our method and class schedule creates a balanced weekly routine that combines structure, freedom, discipline, and creativity.  You’ll see an increase in your overall strength, greater flexibility and mobility, all while transforming the mind, emotions, and spirit.
