classes

Our classes are designed to support a consistent practice rooted in our Ashtanga-based system. Our schedule is intentionally designed as a method, not a collection of unrelated classes. We recommend building your weekly practice around our Ashtanga-rooted vinyasa classes: Power, Rocket, and Yogastha Sadhana at least 3 times per week. From there, you can deepen your practice by repeating these classes or complementing them with our other offerings and slower practices like Slow Flow, Yogalates, meditation, etc.

This is a system of balance, repetition, and integration—meeting you where you are while guiding steady progress over time.  Although we are not a hot yoga studio, classes are still warm (75-80° F).

LEARN ABOUT OUR METHOD

power

ALL LEVELS

Power is our most dynamic and free-form flow class. While many of the postures stem from traditions like Ashtanga, Rocket, and Yogastha Sadhana, the sequencing is less fixed—allowing you to connect breath with movement while exploring creative transitions, challenges, and new pathways through the practice.

The class follows a consistent overall structure, while the internal flows change from class to class on purpose—moving the body through all planes of motion and supporting adaptability in both body and mind. Power emphasizes fascia-focused sequencing and includes a longer standing balance series designed to build strength, stability, mobility, and coordination throughout the body. Balance training supports joint health and healthy aging, while also improving focus, proprioception, and nervous system function.

This is a cardiovascularly engaging flow that challenges you to move with control and presence, using the breath to steady the mind while the practice builds heat. Expect core work, dynamic movement, and a well-earned savasana to close.

rocket yoga

ALL LEVELS

Rooted in the Ashtanga tradition, Rocket Yoga reimagines the Primary and Intermediate Series with creative transitions, accessible modifications, and opportunities for exploration. There are four sequences in the Rocket Yoga system, all of which offer a dynamic blend of standing postures, seated folds, backbends, and arm balances, all linked through steady breath and movement. The structured yet playful approach builds strength, flexibility, concentration, and control while encouraging personal expression and playfulness within the practice!

Designed for mixed levels, this class offers options for both foundational stability and advanced variations. Whether you’re learning or refining the basics, or working toward inversions and arm balances, you’ll find a supportive environment to challenge yourself while keeping the flow accessible and energizing!

The Rocket sequences:
🚀Bottle Rocket: the bare bones of The Rocket method—it contains all the elements for all the other Rocket routines and is a great place for beginners to start!
🚀Rocket I: focuses on hip openers and forward bends (low body focus)
🚀Rocket II: a stronger focus on arm balances, lots of backbends, and deep twists. (upper body focus)
🚀Happy Hour/Rocket III: a blend of Rocket I and II with additional postures from the full Ashtanga system

happy hour

ALL LEVELS

Happy Hour (aka Rocket III) is your weekly Friday celebration of movement, community, and play—a feel-good alternative to drinks and a way to roll into the weekend on your mat instead!

This is Rocket III: a full-blown fusion of Rocket I + Rocket II, bringing together everything from strong standing sequences and deep forward folds to backbends, inversions, arm balances, and all the spicy transitions in between. It’s fast, it’s fun, it builds heat quickly—and it keeps you moving.

Expect a breath-led, Ashtanga-inspired flow that doesn’t take itself too seriously. We work hard, we play hard, and we explore options along the way so you can modify, fly, or both depending on your mood. This is your chance to try things, fall out, laugh, sweat, and surprise yourself.

We wrap it all up with a well-earned Savasana (the real happy hour), and often a little time to hang, connect, and ease into the weekend together. No rush. Just good energy.

yogastha sadhana

ALL LEVELS

Yogastha Sadhana is a vinyasa practice inspired by Ashtanga Yoga and Iyengar Yoga.  This practice emphasizes alignment, breath awareness, and structure—cultivating strength, flexibility, and balance with steadiness and care.  Slower in pace than our Power and Rocket classes, it offers more time to land in breath, alignment, and awareness as you move.

The practice begins with pranayama (breath regulation) as the foundation, then builds gradually through a set sequence of sun salutations and standing postures before moving into seated work. Each class closes with a grounding sequence that includes backbends and inversions, and rest.

Suitable for all levels, especially for beginner students or for those who resonate with a pace that is slow and steady, yet still strong and sweaty.

slow flow

ALL LEVELS

Slow Flow is a gentle, mindful vinyasa class designed to help you slow down and reconnect with your body and breath. Moving at an intentional pace, this practice emphasizes smooth transitions, breath awareness, and grounding postures. Suitable for all levels and ages—especially beginners—Slow Flow encourages stability, ease, and balance without rushing. You’ll leave feeling centered, calm, and more at home in your body.

strength + skills

ALL LEVELS

Strength + Skills is a calisthenics-based movement class designed to build functional strength, mobility, and body awareness for both everyday life and the playful “skills” that show up in yoga practice—like inversions, arm balances, backbends, and transitions that require control and coordination.

We train strength in a dynamic, exploratory way using bodyweight movement and tools like kettlebells, resistance bands, yoga blocks, sliders, and the wall to support or challenge the practice.  Every exercise offers options to regress or progress, making the class accessible, adaptable, and skill-building at every level.

Come curious, stay playful, and leave feeling strong, capable, and more connected to what your body can do!

Weekly Focus:

  • Mondays: Posterior Chain + Leg Strength (supporting backbends and structural strength)
  • Fridays: Full Body (inversions, skill work, and integrated strength training)

yogalates

ALL LEVELS

yogalates blends the mindfulness and mobility of yoga with the core strength and precision of Pilates, focusing on breathwork, balance, and muscle sculpting for a full-body experience suitable for all levels. Through steady flows, precise holds, and breath awareness, this class supports better posture, balanced strength, and long-term resilience. Expect a calm but challenging practice that meets you where you are and builds from there!

LSD: Long. Slow.
Deep. Stretch.

ALL LEVELS

LSD is a fascia-focused recovery and mobility class designed to release tension, improve range of motion, and support nervous system balance. This practice combines intelligent, dynamic warm-ups with slow, sustained stretches and self-myofascial release techniques using tools like tennis balls to gently access deeper layers of tissue, disperse adhesions, and restore healthy movement. This combo of active warm-up and targeted stretch and release is what gives the practice its uniquely therapeutic and HIGHly effective feel.

prana / qi

ALL LEVELS

Prana and Qi (“chee”) both refer to your body’s natural life force—your energy. In this class, we work with that energy directly through the practice of Daoist Nei Gong, learning how to feel it, cultivate it, and refine it from the inside out.

This is a slow, deeply meditative practice that works beyond the muscular system into the subtler layers of the body—connective tissue, fascia, breath, nervous system, and energetic pathways (nadis or meridians). Through standing practices and sustained internal awareness, we release tension, improve circulation, and gently awaken the body’s internal energetic flow.

From there, we move into stillness—using Daoist meditation techniques to turn inward, settle the mind, and deepen awareness, clarity, and connection. Over time, this practice supports the refinement of energy from physical vitality (Jing), to life force (Qi), to more subtle states of presence and consciousness (Shen).

  • Morning sessions are more Yang—focused on standing practices that build energy, clarity, and grounded focus for the day ahead.
  • Evening sessions are more Yin—slower and more internal, with longer periods of seated practice and meditation to unwind, restore, and return to stillness.

No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down and go within.

Perfect for anyone seeking to tap into their inner strength, reduce stress, and experience a sense of renewal and empowerment.

virtual sessions

ALL LEVELS

Start your day grounded, calm, and centered. Meditation practice is about showing up for yourself, not “getting it right,” and building a consistent habit that nourishes your mind, your nervous system, and connects you to the truth that lies within.  Each session begins with gentle guidance—breath awareness, pranayama, visualization, or other simple techniques—before moving into a period of quiet, seated meditation. Over time, these practices help you reduce stress, calm a busy mind, and cultivate focus and inner steadiness.

Sessions are live-streamed via Zoom. Cameras are optional; come as you are.
