ATTENDING A CLASS

CLASSES: Our cancellation window is 1 hour prior to the start of class. If you cancel right at 1 hour prior to class, it is considered a late cancel (so unreserve your spot BEFORE then so you’re not charged a fee).

LATE CANCEL FEE:
$10 for New Student Intros / Forfeiture of Class Pass for Class Pack holders

NO-SHOW FEE:
$18 + plus Forfeiture of Class Pass used

Sometimes an unexpected absence may occur, but please understand that our class cancelation policy is aimed to be a preventative measure rather than a penalty.  As a small studio with limited space, our demand for class spots is high. Absent No-Shows and Late Cancels are inconsiderate to our teachers and students, limit others from participating in classes, and are disruptive to our overall Yoga Community and the sustainability of our studio.

WORKSHOPS & SPECIALTY CLASSES: All sales are final.  If you no-show, you will still be charged for the workshop or special class.

EVENTS: All sales are final.  If you no-show, you will still be charged for the event.

All Students who want to practice and/or make a purchase with us must create their own account and sign our Liability Waiver.  Create your vyb studio account here: Sign-up

PRE-BOOKING IS REQUIRED: Yoga is all about community and communities help each other out!  Help us out by creating your vyb studio account online, purchasing classes, and registering for classes in advance. This is to help with long lines and wait times at the Front Desk.  Create your vyb studio account here: Sign-up

DO NOT BE LATE:  Arrive on time. Our door locks promptly at the start of class time.

WAITLIST:  If the class is full, join the waitlist!  When someone cancels out of class, you will be added to it automatically but you must confirm.  Make sure you’re signed up to receive emails or text notifications so you can confirm your registration.

If the class you wanted to take is full, you can join the waitlist.

  1. Simply tap ‘Join the Waitlist’ next to the class you want to take.
  2. You can confirm you are waitlisted by checking your email notification or going to the bookings page of your account.

  3. When a spot opens up, all students on the waitlist will be automatically emailed that the class now has an open spot. From there, they will be directed to our website to sign up.

  4. The first person on the waitlist to accept the open spot will be entered into the class. (please note:  it does not matter what order you are in on the waitlist–what matters is that you’re the first person to check your email and sign up for the open spot.)

Our instructors teach to all levels, as they offer modifications and advancements for poses in all of our classes.  Yoga is your personal journey on your mat. We have a “you do you” policy–do what you can, take breaks when you need them, only do things that FEEL GOOD, not things that look good.  We all start as beginners at some point.

The minimum age requirement is 16 years of age.

All minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver prior to practicing at our studio.  Please complete the Waiver HERE.

We recommend arriving 5 minutes before class to check in, set up your mat, connect with the instructor, and chill with other awesome yogis in the room!

An open mind, a yoga mat (we have some for rent and for purchase), towel, and possibly a mat towel if you have one. Please bring a bottle of water with you as you are sure to sweat!  We have a water fountain for you to fill up!

Comfortable, athletic clothing that will allow you to move and sweat without distractions.  No shoes allowed in the yoga room. Extra points if you wear vyb swag.

Yoga is all about getting in touch with your body.  If your practice is feeling strong, come as much as you like. If you feel like you need rest, REST! Our practices are demanding on the body and make your muscles #dowork, so be sure to listen to your body and know when it’s time to take a day off.

We recommend giving yourself at least one day of rest for your muscles to recover. We also recommend to drink plenty of water before and after practice (approximately 32 oz.).

Infrared heat directly warms muscles, allowing for a greater range of motion. A body that is warmed up can bend, twist, and lengthen further. It helps students open up, melt deeper into poses and gain confidence in their practice.

Infrared heat has shown to stimulate blood flow.  The heat increases the pulse rate allowing your blood vessels to become more flexible. This allows the circulatory systems to flow with greater ease, while increasing blood flow to the limbs. It can help lower blood pressure, and help oxygenate organs.

The increased circulation and oxygenation to muscles, organs, and glands promotes healing. Studies show that infrared heat makes connective tissue more flexible, permits greater joint movement, and brings about increased levels of endorphins, which eases pain.
